Hi guys.
I have a 1991 320SE E30. About 6 weeks ago the engine started to overheat and use water. The oil had water in it and the garage diagnosed a head problem. Sure enough when the head was taken off it was cracked in 4 places. I bought a recon head which the garage fitted, total cost £850. It has now started to run hot again and use water. The oil has lots of yellow gunk in it and it looks like the head has gone again. The head is guaranteed but not the labour and this could cost another £300. I think the car is worth about £1500 when good and don't want to keep spending money.
Does anyone have any suggestions or a way out of this.
