drivetrain problem?

huyatgr /Banned Join Date: May 2011 Car: Posts: 137 Photos:	drivetrain problem? need help on an '87 325is cpe 2-door 4-speed automatic drivetrain problem. Does the drivetrain have universal joints, or are they pressed? my car has started vibrating after 1500-2000rpm's, it is not a shaking just vibrating when i am driving & if i let off the accelerater it stops vibrating. car is aligned, tires are very good.

Get under and have a look as most BMW's have a rubber center joint, this would cause the vibration if it has failed !
