I have power to my switch for the window but I don't have power to the plug in on the motor. Anything. I have checked all switches and the circuit breaker and the fuse and replaced them. I have checked the wires inside the door also. I have another motor an regulator but again no power to it.
Possibly. Trace the wiring back as far as you can to see if theirs any fraying or shorts. Check the door jamb wiring to as this may be where it's frayed or broken.
My passenger window does this, the wiring in the door jamb is messed up. When the hubby rides with me he sometimes has to open the door (while we're rolling) to get it to work. Sometimes he can work the wire loom and it'll go up and down for a while. I know I need to rewire it, just a little lazy about it because it doesn't make my car not run.
