Driver Door Lock

Have a E30 1988 325i with a closed locked drivers door. I have the panel off and can reach the door lock mechanism however it seems the actual C lock is the issue Any words for the fix? The door lock actuator physically works with the rest of the doors to lock and unlock. Works at the trunk and the drivers door. Cannot open the drivers door.

you may need a new cental locking system... i'd have a lock specialist chekc it out though, i had the same problem it sounds like. i could unlock the car from the trunk and sometimes from the drivers side door but eventually it got so that the key wouldn't turn back to unlock... not fun
