Differences between 1992 and 1993 325i Convertible

I have a 1993 325i cabrio with a manufacture date of 11/92 that was involved in a car accident. The insurance company said it was a total loss, deducted for some minor things such as a torn driver seat but not too much else. We have the option to buy it back as salvage but am trying to come up with a value. The insurance carrier only used a comp of one 1993 that happens to have electrical problems and overheating issues. Fortunately, the insurance company is willing to review anything I can come up with regarding a value. I have been reading conflicting things on the Internet with regard to the 1992 and 1993 325i cabrio. Does anyone know the differences. Prices are all over the place on the Internet. I have seen them sold from $2,500 up to $9,000. Mechanically, the car is in great shape since my son is a mechanical engineer and we were planning to have the seats reupholstered but this happened.
