Oxy- is an unknown quantity at this point
I have succesfuly changed my 86' 325e diff with 2.93 ratio into one with LSD and 3.9 ratio. I don't even know which model it's from, but these parts are surely interchangeble between different models.

BTW, Limited Slip Differential is an AMAZING thing. I recomend getting it for anyone who are keen in sporty driving.

M-technik-3 is an unknown quantity at this point
You can do it yourself if you are mechanically challenged. It's wick simple, shouldn't take you more than 2 hours if you don't have a clue. It's a 40 minute job.

Did you check to see if there was gear lube in the case?
