Design Needed: Custom Seat Brackets

Does anyone have pics or a write up for fabricating custom seat brackets? I'm mostly curious about what type of steel bars to use i.e. Flat bars, Angle Iron or hollow square bars.

How did you (or your fabricator) make yours?

most of the time, it is good t ouse a piece of flat steel, with an angle on the ends, similar to a streched piece od U-channel. That's the way I would do it, but make sure that you have the seat set where you want it, b/c they are there to stay. Try and get a piece with at least a one inch lip, and depending on how high you want the seat, purchase the stock accordingly.
