| most of the time, it is good t ouse a piece of flat steel, with an angle on the ends, similar to a streched piece od U-channel. That's the way I would do it, but make sure that you have the seat set where you want it, b/c they are there to stay. Try and get a piece with at least a one inch lip, and depending on how high you want the seat, purchase the stock accordingly.
