Dashboard Crack

I have a BMW 316i 1990 year (old style).

There is crack developing on the top of the dashboard from the innermost corner of the coin tray downwards towards the glove box.

I need to stop the crack from getting bigger & not just cover it up.

I have tried liquid superglue, thicker superglue & a flexible transparent gasket sealant but the crack is still growing.

I don't want to buy a new dashboard panel so does anyone know the best way of dealing with this?

My e24 nor my e30 have a dash issue.

My e21 developed one when it was a 10 year old pup.

I installed a dash cap and that was almost 20 years ago.

Here are the pictures when I installed a G-Tech Comp.

I needed the shift lights with a Calloway Turbo under the hood.

Or you could replace you dash which is a pretty big task to take up. I'm sure you'll be able to find a couple for sale that are in good condition, with no cracks on ebay.

Hey KC RON since your here, ECU question. Is the '85 528e ECU compatible with the 325e? would it function properly. I know that their engines are similar. More than similiar
