Im gonna change the oil and spark plugs on my 325ix this weekend. Soooo..how many quarts of oil and what viscosity should I use? Also some cars run better on different spark plugs....what seems to be the best for our older bimmers?

4.4 litres of oil. I run on mobil 1 10w30 from wal-mart at 27$ canadian for 4.4 Litres

Use 10-40 or 20 50. Its better, leaks less from old seals and it lets the valve train run smoother.

well i always buy 5, its a little over 4, but i think 4 is the minumum... sorry i said 4 at first...

Its 5 quarts here in the U.S. 4 and you will come up short.

I just changed oil this weekend it take exactly 5.5 quarts of oil. I have always had good luck with bocsh plugs thats is what runs best in BMW or NGK

my bmw mechanic uses pennzoil 15-40 longlife. it works well for me. also u should use 5 quarts of oil when changing your oil. if you use for it will not be enough cause it still has to run through the new filter also, so use 5 quarts. i also use Mann filters. got spark plugs i use Bosch but not the really expensive ones. they arent worth it. i think min cost around 2$ a piece. good luck.
