Alrighty, I have a 1984 BMW 325e... and well, Ill say it, I'm in love with this car, I can't get rid of it, it has 368k miles and has had a GMC backed in to it and its been slammed into a tree stump, and I still want it. I'm repairing the body and such, but I need info on the motor and such. Alright, what motors will fit in there? Will a 325 from 92 or so work? Or would I need the motor and the trans or what, and would an M3 motor... well basically any info will help...thanks
no, the 92 325 will NOT work, i mean it may work but it isnt like a plug and play thing, u gotta do some modifications.
i believe ur car is an e30, so u can get ANY engine that comes out of an e30, and that is up till 91, and yes, if u find an m3 engine before 91 u can use that
check advanced auto parts, they sell good engines here, here they sell a 95 m3 engine brand new w/refurbished block for 3 grand
