just wondering how much it would cost to get the front driver seat done or ever replaced... theres a 91 318is im looking at and the front seat is all worn
check out all the classifieds in these bmw forums, people are always selling recaros, you can get em for as much as 150$ or 200$ a seat, and as little as like 50$.
there is a set for sale i think in this E30 section

try going to an interior specialist and getting them recoverd. that should be maybe 200$ or so.

$750 amer. sounds about right if you want leather, alot of times it is more. But the 318 had vinyl so it should be less. You can find a leather set out of a 325 for cheaper, hell i just sold a black one in perfect condition for 100 bucks on ebay

if you do it yourself to get somone maybe 400 or so Can $ tops maybe a little less. depending on where you go the guy i know might be like 300 350 i duno id have to go check.
