Coolant light is on

the coolant light is on i dont think its the sensor and my coolant is fresh

It could be low. This is easy to check. Just pop the hood when the car is cold and see if it is up to the cool line. If it is not, make sure you buy the right kind of coolant and top it off. Caveat: never mix the orange and blue coolants under any circumstance. The result is a sludge that destroys your cooling system.

i just use the orange coolant and i did a full flush 2 weeks ago so its all full.

First, remove the sesnor and clean it up, reinstall and see if the prompt goes away if not I would suggest a new sensro, did this to kids 325ic and that cured the problem.

what chemicals can i use to clean it up
is their anything special or can i use some rubbing alcohol

i'm not totally sure what the deal is with bmw warning lights, but you may just have to get it reset by the bmw dealership. i know on my car the oil light has been on for about a year now just beacuse i change my own oil, so check that out if you're sure it's at the right level.
