convertible top

I've got an 89 325 convertible that needs a new top. Where can I get an oem quality top? Is replacing the top a do it yourself job or best left to a shop?

how good are you at mechanical work? granted it's not engine work but it is the top to your car and you'd hate to have a tommy boy happen (if you haven't seen tommy boy...the hood wasn't on correctly and it flew up on the windshield..it actually happened to my cousin and was quite possibly the funniest moment of my life, granted that no one else was on the highway so we were alright). if you don't know how to install it you'd hate to be lookin good on the highway and then have it fly off on you . not to mention quite the safety hazard for other drivers
