control arm

so me and my buddy are putting in his conrtol arm today in his e30 318is, has anyone ever done this or have any hits/tips that could help make this go better!

If your just removing and replacing it.... it should be that bad... what ever you take off... put back on....

If you find any bushings that dont look the norm... replace them... I'd replace them any ways if I was changing any part of the suspension...

i think your biggest problem might be removing the control arm from the strut hosuing,, mine was stuck like glue!

other than that its pretty much removing nuts and bolts and replacing it,, jsut watch out when it comes out,, it might fall out kinda heavy :P

I had to use a press to get the control arm bushings in/out. It is important to line the mount up the same way as it came off.
