Just bought a 1988 325 for $1 - that's right, a dollar. Needed new battery & some brake work, which I did, but now I can't find the code for the stereo. Where is the best place to look?

Thanks for the help so far. Found the code on a card buried halfway under a pile of service receipts in the glove box; code worked, but now the stereo just flashes the number "2" over and over. No music, no mechanical sounds from the tape player. Any ideas?
