Does anyone know of a product and or method to protect aluminum from oxidation?
My intake and valve cover seem to have a gold colored finish on them but it really needs to be redone.
It seems a shame to spend a lot of time cleaning a buffing aluminum only to have it in a very short time good bad again.
Over the past couple days I have check around and I think I will have the valve cover and intake manifold power coated. I comes in may color including the BMW bronze and clear.
It's possible to do it yourself the gun in about $150 and you need and expendable oven.
