Cleaning the injectors - BMW Forum

I have a problem with one of the injectors... My mechanic said that they need cleaning. Do you think it is possible to do that myself... just for fun. Or I'd better not touch there

?

You can load your gas tank up with some injector cleaner next time you refuel.
That's as much cleaning as you ought to be doing yourself.

U shouldnt do that though putting tooo mauch can cause damage but take it to a mechanic and they can do it its not that expensive

They have fill ratios right on the bottle, you know.

u said load it up on the feul injector cleaner i read the directions it said put 100 ml every other fill up. but honestly i think they dont work for cleaning a bad problem maybe for maintenece. the best way to get it cleaned is by a mechanic who has the proper eqipment to clen them
