center bearing

precision tuner n00b Join Date: Dec 2003 Car: Posts: 16 Photos:	does the center bearing go on a certain way which side goes on the inner shaft? do yo ubut a lot of moly grease? what does it mean by preloading it? the bearing looks different on each side one side its aligned with the rubber the other side is like 1/8 lip with rubber teeth. which side goes where. any help would be great.

flipsgonetopless 1st Gear Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: Ontario, California Car: 1991 318is Posts: 101 Photos:	Well I just replaced my center bearing on my 89 Conv. I placed the lip towards the inside of the shaft (towards the U joints). Well I hope it helps,
