| Cannot turn headlights off : 86 325es
Earlier in the week I went to shut my lights of before removing the keys from the ignition... but with the switch off, they did not turn off, although they did dim. Upon removing the key from the ignition, the lights went out.
Later that night I went out to my car to find the lights were back on - I toggled the switch on and off a couple times and they shut off. They turned themselves back on again later in the night and drained my battery so I pulled the fuses.
Is the problem likely to be with the switch, or does this sound like a short somewhere else, etc? It's damn cold out, and the semester started back up, so I just thought I might be able to minimize the amount of time I'll be spending ripping through wires and whatnot.
