Hi! This little 325 that I bought off a nieghbor has ice cold a/c but yesterday afternoon when I went to turn it on it did nothing. I suspect it's something electrical, it's all only 6 months old according to reciepts. What to look for and where? Also, where to look for a 1988 owners manual? Thanks!

update: I tried the a/c again today and had cold a/c again! When I went to leave for lunch it wouldn't come on then no matter how many times I tried. There is no light on the snowflake a/c button [even when it did kick on] like the recirculatin button which lights up orange. Maybe it's in that switch? I popped the hood and unplugged all a/c electrical connections and reconnected them but still nothing. I'm thinking that switch may be faulty??

Could be the switch but then again it could be a few different things.

1. Poor connection at fuse
2. Relay?

Thanks! Where is the a/c fuse and relay located? I'm at a loss here with no owners manual. I listened closely and can hear a definate click on the recircualtion button but no click [altough it does depress and hold] on the snowflake button so maybe it's worn out and working sporaticaly? I checked eBay and there's a lot there which also leads me to believe it's a wear item? I'm learning as I go

Looks like we posted at the same time. I assume you meant 'button' and yes as I said above I did check eBay but can probably get one locally for the same price without the wait. THANKS!

UPDATE: I removed the switch and jumped the harness connector and BINGO! the a/c came on. I took the switch apart and tried to adjust or figure out what was wrong but after reassembly/install it operated a few times but not every time. So I'm just going to get a new one for reliablity.
