I want to buy a BMW 325i, but it has 210,000 miles on it. the guy selling it has this as its description "i have a 1988 325i it has 210000 miles with cleaned manifold and new sensors. cold air intake and dual exhaust. also has very nice head unit that is all wired up for complete system. also comes with racing headers and pipes and other exhaust, if you dont like this one. this car is in great condition. needs very little work. it needs a guibo only $30 online its a flex joint for drive shaft and just a clip or screw for the fan shroud. everything else works perfect. very fast. when fixed it is drivable im asking 2000" I want to get into the BMW culture haha.. but I don't know if this is good because mostly of the high mileage. I have heard from many people to buy it, and from many people to not buy it. Can anyone help?
BMWs are known to hit the 500k mile mark often as long as they are maintained and run hard once in a while...dont worry about the mileage, worry about the fact that it has non sport seats, a rice muffler hot air intake and black wheels..those are the things to be concerned with...because that makes me think the person that owned it was not a BMW enthusiast and more likely somebody who is use to working on hondas and may not have maintained it properly....
$2000 seems to be a fair price for a builder, looks like its going to need some de ricing, haha...price seems to fit

HAHAHA.. I know, looks a tad.. riced.. well very riced :'( its very disappointing but once i get it, mostly everything is going to be re-done. I still want it though, no doubt about that, or chance of me changing my mind
i paid 900 for my 90 alpine with cardinal interior, comfort seats. With 185k. If you want the car, do not offer any more than 1250. Do not pay more than 1600. (If you REALLY want it.)

Two wheels or Four, I'm happy as long as the throttle is pinned.

Yeah I really want it lol.. but everybody selling a late 80's-early 90's bmw 3-series.. are over priced over here.. im going to go to $1400 and see what he says..
well I was talking to the guy and he said $1500.. I'm still not fully sure about the price, on a count of I really want a BMW and can't seem to find any like this around.
yeah, it's never good to buy something off emotions.
i know it's really hard to do, but sometimes you have to pass on something if it looks really shady...unless you are prepared to spend lots of money repairing a vehicle.
some vehicles, as great as they may be, can also be money pits...and may just keep taking money.
