I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice about putting 1991 e30 bumpers on a 1988. Is it hard to do this? Where can i get bumpers? thanks. Contact@DanielsKing.com

The '88's should have the same bumpers as the 91's. 87 and older had the big bumpers. It takes a lot of work to do this swap, it is not a matter of just changing the bumper. I personally wouldn't atempt this unless you have a lot of body repair experence and the proper tools and body parts to change. If you really want the newer bumpers just sell your car and get a newer one with the different bumpers.
actually 88's are pretty much a direct swap with no custom body work or fabrication needed, just paint and bolt on. 84-87's require cutting and custom trim in the rear, but it's still do able
yea, they started making the taller lights in 88. so i didn't see y it would be too much trouble. Thanks a lot guys! now the next step is getting the newer bumpers...anyone have any suggestions?

call Bavarian Auto Recycling (if nothing turns up locally), i once was quoted $100 for the rear bumper and $400 for the front bumper, valance, and lip.
My mom and dad hit my car in the same day and it required a new bumper.....When that happened I went to a German Car junk yard in Maryland, however they are all over the country.....Just dont let them rip you off. It did require painting.
