Broken Tachometer And Obc - BMW Forum

MyOBC crapped out and so did my tach along with it. Is there any way that you could fix this problem without having to go to the dealer or a mechanic?

Any help would be great.

you need to replace either the tach or the cluster computer, i heard somwhere that the tach failing is the first sign of that? can't remember where i read that. anyways its not hard to do it yourself... if you can install a cdplayer then you cna do any of those.

im not sure if this will fix it but when i got my car the tach and speed odmitor did not work caues of a fuse. This might help might not its worth it to just check it out though. oo=[][]=oo

where can i get a new cluster computer, and do i need a special tool to get the old one out?
