How much is the average cost for fixing an odometer and where would you recommend going, a BMW dealership? Also I was talking to the guy selling a 91 318is and he said one part of the vinyl siding is missing. Is that the those black strips around the car and if so are they replacable?

yes they're replaceable but the vinle side would be on the inside, and those are also replaceable. scrap yards might have them but you might have to call the dealer, or get one recoverd from the scrap yard. i wouldn't recomend going to the dealership, and depends whats wrong with the odometer, you might just have to buy a whole new speedo.

not sure ask the dealer about that, it woudn't be that much to redo a side you could probably do it yourself. and the speedo, you can get the full guage clusters for like 40$ off ebay and swap speedo's, or look at the wrecker.
