I just put all new brake pads and rotors on my 89 325i and I can't figure out why the brake lining light doesn't go out. I've have disconnected the sensors and run a wire accross the conections but the light stays on. Any ideas or any wiring diagrams? Thanks

there's a wire that runs down to your brake pads & loops back up... when the pads wear down to the wire it wears away at it & grounds the circuit, triggering a light in the dash... that light is the brake lining light
