A Bonefied S14 Or What?

hey-

checked FAQ's didnt find anything..

i bought an 87 325i convertible that had a blown cylinder 2 yrs ago and had the engine overhauled. from the very trusty owner who had the work done, he had the block bored out and had m3 guts put in- from top to bottom. is this a bonefied s14? or simply a moddied m20? how hard would an evo ii conversion be? does the fact that the engine was originally an m20 make a difference in upgrades?

you cannot convert a m20 to a s14. it just sounds like a lightly modded m20, since there isnt much you can do internally without machine work.

M20=6cyl
S14=4cyl

I don't care what parts you put in the block it is still going to be an M20 no matter what you do. If you bore it big enough you can put chevy small block 350 pistons in old school VW engines, but that doesn't turn the VW engine into a chevy.

lol how hot that that fucker run? i wanted High power outa my 72 super beetle so i put a carbed 4 port 13B rotary engine in it ! how much power was ur beetle putting out BMdubya.
