I have never really seen a "body kit" that looked great on an E30. My buddy got the Reiger (i think it was that) looking kit and although it looked alright, it was low as hell and it was fiberglass so it was hard and expensive to mold to the car and never fit perfectly.
The best look to an E30 IMO is the set-up spiff used to have. I do not know exactly what he had, but if I remember correctly it was just a lip on the stock front. It was nothing crazy but it flowed really well with the rest of the car. Mind you that he had the small (shorter) bumpers which look a lot better than the huge ass ones that stick out real far.
This is just my 2 cents on body modifications to E30's

Thanks, I don't mind at all, anyway e30's look best when you do the suspension right and choose the right wheels, stock bodywork is enough, maybe some nice sideskirts like bmp's or m3 twisties but that's all I would do.
I agree with all of the above. I happen to have the "s" package, so I have the big bumpers, sport front, and integrated fog lights. Non-bimmerheads always ask if it's a "body kit" (even though it's just the front), and I have to tell them that it is stock. It looks good to me, but I still want the plastic bumpers, valence and lip.
Believe me, it will look mean.
If you want, check out the r3vlimited.com site, and look what they did. They have a pretty good tutorial for the bumper swap, lip, and bodywork. Lots of pictures, and the car looks great.

Yeah, I like the one Dlovett showed. E30s don't take too well to kits, makes em look stupid. They look muck better with an understated kit, bumpers & some side skirts.
