Bmw Numbers

i just got a 1984 bmw 325e and i was wondering if anyone knows how to take off the numbers on the back right side of the trunk

hairdyer, heat area and use dental floss to pull off the numbers, then use a adhisve removable compound

If you go to a local place that does auto pin striping and graphics, they will probably get the adhesive off for free (after you've removed the emblem) if you ask real nice.

My uncle owns the local Auto Trim and he uses stuff called Speedy 500 (i believe) that works like magic without messing up the paint.
