I love the repect of other bmw drivers. When you see another BMW you eye it up and respect them you dont really get jealous of them. Everytime i pass another E30 i pretty much always give some kind of reconition and they most all the time respond(if they have the same feeling for their car) well i guess im just asking if that is how it is everywhere or just in my town.
oh yea its like this everywhere.
I as fixing my car on the side of the road(screw fell out..lol) and an E46 owner came up and we started talking..its was great. It happens all the time, we are one big happy family.
yeah when i see guys with bmw's i point at there car then point at mine the grab my BMW emblem i have in the car and show it with a thumbs up they laugh and when i see e30's we usally rev a little at each other and/or race we are a big family i love you guys(tear)

If I wasn't in such a hurry to get home from shopping today, I'd have hung out until the owner of this jet black 80s 735i came out of the mall. I remember my mechanic working on it, so I'm sure I can find the guy sometime if I really want to.
Pretty much everyone I've seen or talked to who owns a BMW is immediately friendly. Oddly enough, my friends with Buicks and Chevrolets aren't..what could it mean.
not all people with bmw's are nice i have meet some that were cockyyy man they were like ha my bmw is newer then yours so it makes it better so owned them on the street. with there girlie-matics then theres rich white spoiled chicks that get anything from daddy that are just messed up. but alot of people are real cool with bmw but the dudes all ways seem kool unless there cocky

Meh, I live in Phoenix Arizona. I don't know anyone else that own's E30's around here. Well I see them occasionally. They are not in it for the car though, and some preppy people (mostly old) that think they are all cool rolling around in newer BMW's, so I woudln't dare wave at them.
They buy the car for the name, not what it is. But I am proud to be a BMW owner, and supporter, if my area gets populated with E30's, they shall thank me for starting it as I am the only one in the East Valley of Phoenix.
I believe there's a guy on the forums, I can't remember if its this forums or E30tech, but he goes by the name of DK. He lives in Phoenix as well (Guessing North Phoenix) and he is into e30's a fair ammount so it seems. Not sure what model (guessing I) he has, but he's got a m50 or s50, or possibly m52 in his car. Also sells heat shields on ebay, but I have yet to contact him and meet him. Kinda lonley being the only one in my area that likes E30's for the car, and not just a means of transportation.

You're not the only one...! I just don't hang out here much. You should check out Unofficial BMW, lots of good info there.
Also, there happens to be an AWESOME discount parts place here locally: AutoHausAZ.com
They carry all KINDS of BMW stuff, and most of their manufacturers are original BMW OEMs.
i always wave to fellow owners, usualy E30's most of the new bmw's are driven by yuppies and they dont wave, they just hope for some action cause they're in a bmw. but any E30 i give a wave, and maybe a little drifting action, depends on where im going to a meet tomorrow in the morning that should be fuN

i wave to other BMW owners, that why i loved my E30 so much, because no matter where i went, people sort of looked at my car, i guess the good condition zinnoberrot paint helped, and would allow me give em a nod or something.
its like i got a sort of respect and gave it to others, for owning the car i did, it was awesome.
the E30 to me, has such an aggressive look, and, atleast in my opinion, would get me antsy if i saw another E30 around..

This is cool......Old Bronco and Jeep owners have been waving to each other for years. The e30 is definately a car that deserves to be part of a fellow owners appreciation club.
Give a wave, toot the horn or in my case...I've (with one yellow hibeam) been short flashing fellow e30 owners.
