Hi guys, I just realized my 1990 e30 head lights and tail lights come on when I start the car even though the switch is off, anyone experience this problem or is this normal like all day running lights?

No ,I dont think so because when I have the lights on the off position there on with the tail lights,when its in second position just the side markers and tail lights and dash are on and finally in third postion everything is on dash headlights and tail lights.
