BMW 325es Chip

If anyone is interested, there is an auction on ebay for a 325 Turner motorsports chip here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...romZR40QQfviZ1. I used to have a 325 with one of those and it really did make a difference, pepped it up a little bit

I have a 91 318is and have been reading up on Turner motorsport chips. Question, how dificult is it to install one of these chips in my vehicle and what can I expect performance wise?

Its not too difficult. All you do is pull out your ECU (4 screws) and pull the two halves apart (4 more screws i think), pull out the old chip and pop in the new one.

Performance increases depend on the model. 325e's get the biggest bang of about 20 or so HP.

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but is there a difference between the name brand (turner and dinan) and the other ones on ebay that sell for much less? And why would one be better than the other?
