bmw 325 e30 crankshaft removal?

I have a e30 325e and im replacing the timing belt. so i decided to clean everything up. in the process i got the bottom pulley got dirty even though i tried to cover up. so im trying to pull the crankshaft pully off, cuz im not gonna put it back together when its that dirty. i tried to take the back cover off first but you cant do that without taking the pulley off first. so ive been looking on how to take it off and i havent been able to find anything. i was wondering if you can just put an air gun on the pulley (22mm i think) and undo it that way.
Im kinda out of ideas and cant find anything, any help is appreciated thanks.

you could uae a pneumatic driver to take out the hold-down bolt and then, the proper way to extract your vibration damper is to use a bolt grip pulley remover.
