put bilstein sports all the way around my '89is today and its like drivin a brand new car. I also have bavauto springs which are like 6 months old. It is amazing how big a difference over stock shocks they are. I got them for cost, but i would definately pay full price if i had to. I put new rear shock tops and solid control arm bushings in too which helped alot

how much did you lower it. mine is 1.25in and the front camber is barely off, e30 m3 control arm bushings will correct it, but there are alot of places to get camber plates, just search google, and the bilstein straightened my rear wheels perfectly
Originally posted by Bmw1990@Feb 20 2005, 02:46 PM I believe you can get a camber kit for the E30's from bmpdesign.com, there are probably other places but thats the first that comes to mind.

measure it up against a stock e30 and see how much it is lowered. How old are the springs, they may be getting old and squating, you said you just did the whole suspension, but not the springs? I have never seen the camber on an e30 that bad, my first car was an 86 325 and it was lowered 1.75 and the camber was never affected, the tires wore perfectly. You may need new springs and/or shocks

no the car is lowerd, its got Mtechnic springs i just dot know how much its lowed cause the guy never told me so i dont know how much, and then the 17's raised it up a bit maybe an inch? little less prolly half an inch but the springs arn't soft.

the 17s shouldnt have raised it up any, i just took mine off and put 15s on and it still measures the same, i have about 6 inches from the ground to the bottom of the front valance, about 3 inches from the bottom of the lip spoiler. I didnt say the springs would be soft, if they are worn out it will look like the wheels are pointing way in like the camber is off
if you have real m technic springs which i have just read that they are 35mm lower than stock which is an inch and a half, but i kindof doubt that cause thats pretty low for a factory suspension, so if you have those then your car should be a little lower than mine so i dont see how you have 8 inches clearence, can you send a pic of how your wheels sit so i can see how bad the camber is?
