Auto to stick conversion in an E30

I might purchase an E30 325i so I can set my E21 aside for a few months and fix all the problems with it. The only down side to the E30 is that it has an auto trani n I can get all the parts I need through my work at cost plus 10% so that isn't an issue, but I was wondering how much work is involved to do the conversion besides the replacing the drivetrain stuff. I know in newer cars you have to reprogram the computer so it knows that it has a stick instead of an auto, Is this needed on the E30's? I think it's an '87 maybe a '86.

No computer issues other than removing the neutral lockout wiring.

I'm looking for a 325i/s stick but this guy at work just happens to be selling an auto so I was just wondering if it is worth it to do the conversion or just do some more hunting around for the stick so I wouldn't have to do the conversion.
