Anybody who makes plastic bumpers for diving board style E30s.

I'm tired of my diving board bumpers, I don't have the time to make the bumpers myself and I was wondering if there was anyone, anywhere, company or individual who will/does make bolt on plastic bumpers.

Model is a 1984 318i.

I'd pay shipping, parts and labour.

^ the stock mid 80's bumpers on the 3 series they hang out and look like diving boards

AFL = After face lift?(1988+)

If so, then no they don't.

The front bumper assembly fits but the rear bumpers you need to do some cutting and drilling.

oh that, yeah. well, I happen to like that look but that's just me. I am not positive but I know on the 2002's there were little shock absorbers that were attached to the inside of the bumper and the body. What people used to do to get the euro look was drill holes into these tiny shocks and let fluid drain out and then carefully press the bumper back towards the body. I could never see that logic but people did it. That might not hold up for the E30's, I don't know. Seems to me like you'd have to change other shrouding, moldings to do that...I don't know

that's right, I use my 'diving board' bumper as a bench to change into my golf shoes at the course.

Are there any aftermarket plastic bumpers that won't make my car look like a failed audition for the transformers movie?

BMP Design has some very tasteful bumpers that are a direct replacement for 84-87 cars.
