Seems like a waste of money to me. There is already a voltage regulator built into the alternator.

If your alternator is producing 14V then forget it... If you are running a high power stereo... get some Phoenix Gold Capacitors... they'll do the same thing but in a better way.

the idea behind it is sort of like a CAP.....so the asian sensation is right on the money for sure. but honestly it is a waste of money.

Yeah it's like putting a bandaid on your electrical system because you have a problem and can't figure it out, and probably doesn't work anyways. BTW I thought BMW's ran like 8v or something? I always heard that you shouldn't jumpstart them with another running car because of that. *shrug*

nope 12v.......nothing wrong with jumping them with another car so long as you do it correctly.
