can any one tell me anything about "ansa sport exhaust". I need a new muffler b/c mine has some holes in it already. and i only puchased it a year and half ago. i don't have alot of money to spend also. i was just surfing the net and found this exhaust system. any info. would help. Oh yeah, how does it sound? i dont want my car to sound like a rice rocket. thanks again.
I was faced with the same question when i first purchased my car. I thought, hey for 250 bucks i can buy this cool looking "performance exhaust" Then I started to do some research. After a little research i found out that ANSA exhuasts are peices of crap. At first they sound great and your car will run great, but then they will go down the crapper after awhile. They will start to rust and get holes, and those nice lookin chrome tips will start to turn black from exhause smoke. Instead I purchased a OEM BMW exhaust and had it installed at the dealership. By them installing it I got a lifetime gurantee, It cost me a few bills tho. I thought to myself that BMW engineered this exhaust to sound good and get a good deal of perfomance, so thats why I got it. There are better exhausts out there, but you are goin to spend a good deal of money, and you pay for what u get. All in all DONT GET ANSA!!!

or you could go for american exhaust... i put flow master on my car sounds good, and they're about 90$ for one. you have to buy a tip but you can go to a metal shop and get some stainless tubing for about 5$ and then you would have good exhaust and a nice shinney tip which when it goes black you can pollis or go get a new one for about 5$ and they've got a good life span too, and awsome flow, and you can choose the sound you want, ro the tone... its pretty sweet.
