1980 BMW 323is is an unknown quantity at this point

hey guys. i recently found a 1980 e21 claimed to be an Alpina 323i. What i want to know is how can i tell if it is a true Alpina? I know some ways to tell is that if it has the badge on the dashboard and the euro bumpers. It has the 15 inch Alpina wheels on it. The Trunk Lid says Alpina on the left and 323i on the right. It also has Rectangular shaped or square headlights. What could that mean? Its 4 cylinder with a full bodykit on it( front valance, rear valance, side skirts, Spoiler) It looks okay. The car has been converted to an automatic by the original owner. Thanks for your help

Fake would not have the 4cyl. would not have the 323' badge, lights are aftermarket and whoever installed them was on crack

They paid money to make it an automatic when it wasn't?

Leave that thing alone.
