Air In My Injector Lines

My 1980 320i was started after 2 years downtime
now it idles rough and air bubbles can be seen in the return line from the warm up regulator to distributor at one time then in either the #2 or #3 injector line
help

it may clear up on its own, but if not try running some quality fuel system treatment through, and see if that helps, if not you may have a major fuel contamination problem. In that case you would have to replace just about the whole system

check your fuel presure regulator, its vacume powered and the rubber lining might have cracked durring the down time and now your sucking air into the fuel, or you have a hairline crack somwhere in your line or on your fuel rail... but im leaning more to the regulator.
