Advice....

Well I posted a new topic the otherday, no one replied to my ad. Well I giving this one more try.... ....I found a 1988 325 es for $1350 with 177k miles. The interior is riped and the front spoiler is kinda falling but the engine is very clean and runs like a mother fucker, its gold and tan interior with some kinda funky print. This car with a little elbow grease and wsome TLC can become a totaly bad ass car. Can anyone tell me if I should jump on this offer, any replies will be appreciated.

Depends if you are going for looks or functionality. If your just buying the car to race the hell out of it you might as well just rip off the front spoiler all together for better clearence on low down and dirty turns. However since its higher mileage try to knock him down 100-200 bux, If he wont go, its a good offer but there is probly better. 1300 is cheap, but your also getting a car that you should expect to put a grand into. ie, clutch, brakes, new fluids, new strut bearings

if the engine is thats strong i'd say go for it, you could probably get some new seats off ebay for cheap.

Thanks guys for the insight, I will definatley seek more guidence, but as it seems I think I will like to purchase and maybe do some of my own work. I already have an e30 convertible that I love but I dont have that manual tranny pickup and go... Thank you guys and I will keep your advise to heart.
