Adjustment of Heater Control Slides - '90 E30

The top two sliders on my heater controls won't slide all the way to the right anymore.

After taking out the radio, I can see that there are plastic adjustments on the control cables themselves but they don't seem to help. Also, I had to replace the A/C Recirc fan switch which appears to have contributed to this issue.

Any help on making a proper adjustment would be appreciated.
