Also take a look at the research done into using Toluene in fuel for similar results. You can pick up Toluene at most paint stores for a few bucks a gallon!

Don't wanna be the test case but I have done some research...

Actually it is the third ingredient in TNT "Tri-Nitro Toluene" and I will see what I can find. It has been used primarily as a super octane booster. Most octane boosters you would buy at a store would boost the rating of your octaine by "up to 5 points" or something like that... so if you put 89 octaine in your tank, and put a can of that stuff in it, you get... 89.5 octane!!! ooooOOOOoooohhh! But Toluene can boost by whole numbers... The right concentration could boost your 89 octaine to 94 octaine! Now THAT is a booster!

whew... lots to read... But interesting... I can se how it makes a difference for performance but I was trying the Acetone for the benefits of fuel economy... if I race this summer i'll maybe gie it some thought. Thanks!

What kind of increase did you see? Are you still using it? Any problems? I'm considering trying it with gas prices as high as they are, anything helps.
