AC Problems

Hello guys...
I am hoping someone can help me with some troubleshooting of my ac system. I recently replaced the freon in my 85' 325e. It was actually blowing pretty cold air to begin with, but when I looked under the hood, on the little indicator glass, there were constant bubbles, so I figured it was low. So, what I did was take all the r12 out, and replace it. again and again. I have bought like 9 cans of this stuff. and still the air is not coming out as cold as it used to. What is going on? I actually added 3 cans at a time and then would let it out. I am tired of spending money, with negative results. Call me a fool if you want, but help me...please. also, I am using freeze12 instead of r12. ghead

they sell conversion kits to r134a at autozone...

lol... yeah you are right, its just that I didn't know if it would work as good as r12. but I guess after all the crap that I have done, I'M GONNA TRY IT!

I have the conversion done by myself on my m3 it is cool as the other.
Ac problems are usually not easy to find from a distance so I can only give you tips.:
Make sure you vacuum the system as you should,
check your system at the O rings for leaks
check your valves maybe they leak
if you vacumed it right and filled it right with oil and r12 you should not have trouble,but you saying bubble staff probably indicates you let air go in or you have a leak.
