JBH is an unknown quantity at this point
I have found a 1989 325iC in great shape and I am thinking of buying it. I have been doing searches all afternoon and am left with a few questions.

1. Is the iC based on an iS or just an i?
2. Are there any performance differences between an 89 model and the 90-92 models?

From what I have gathered the "s" models had sportier seats and sportier suspensions, LSD, and better 5 speeds. I am just wondering if the vert I am looking at has those things.

Thanks

iC basically is an "i" model except the "C" stands for cabriolet/convertible. If you mean Ci, I believe that means it's a compact version of the "i". I dunno if the 89 differs from 90-92 in performance.
