89 325is fuel or elec problem

I have a 89 325is, The car started like it was missing and slowly got worse now it will start but will only stay running 30 seconds or less. I have changed spark plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, main relay, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, new ecu, pulse sensor, fuel filter, coil what else can it be at a loss

So, after it dies can you restart again straight away ?

I know youve done all the fuel parts, but it sounds to me like fuel starvation,have you changed the fuel filter.?

yes, even checked all the fuel lines

Sounds like youve got air getting in to the fuel system, sounds strange take the fuel filler cap off and see what happens.

the only thing i have not done is change the injectors

i have done that it still does the same thing

Have you cleaned the throttle body ?

If that doesnt work ,its down to one thing !!!

ive cleaned the throttle body, the mass air flow sensor, and i have replaced the fuel regulator

Ok, You will need to check the pressure in the fuel rail, if thats ok, then you are looking at the camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor, but Im still leaning towards a fuel problem, also check for any leaks on the air intake hoses.

pressure at fuel rail checked out fine,i replaced the pulse sensor which some call it a crankshaft sensor

The crankshaft sensor is a different sensor than the camshaft sensor they are not one of the same. The crank...is situated normally down near the fly-wheel, cam.....is normally top front, so which one have you done.
