ive heard of people changing the batterys is the si boards to being out side of the clustor but i havnt seen anythreads on it. so i need alottle help, would be much appreciated

yup, people have done that....I couldn't find a good write up on how to do it.....so I just sprung for a new SI board.

A lot more pricey, but it saved me the headache of potentially frying my old board and missing out on the core refund.

yeah. i dont have money. cause i dont have a job. so i got time lol. plus it makes for a good experiance and if i can do it right then i can make money off of it if i come across someone who needs the same. lol

an excellent step-by-step procedure is available in the Pelican Technical articles :-)

really.. it doesn't take much. take out the battery.. solder on a positive wire and a negative wire to the old battery terminals; cut the wires to however long you wish them to be. then solder the battery holder on to the other end. fit in your batteries... reinstall. You are done!
