'89 325i Convertible -> '89 M3

Just considering making an m3 replica out of my 325i convertible, cause im obsessed with m3's, but dont have the money for one, and already have an e30.... wondering what you guys think

not e30... you would have to do alot of body work for the wide bodyness of the e30m3

first off:

the widebody conversion is a rediculous price, plus to find someone able to do it(who knows the labor fee's), then you have to think of all the susp and eng compenents to make it an E30 M3 convertible.

to find an S14 motor in good condition is hard, and it will cost you a damn good pretty penny.

my suggest, just get an E30 M3, it would be a lot cheaper that way. you can find them easily for under15k, where the trasnformation would cost more then that(not includiing labor).

if you do it yourself it wouldnt cost any more than most people spend on fully customizing their car, and i doubt he would take his motor out and put in an s14 when he can spend half the cash on his motor and have a faster car
