I saw the ad below about changing the bumpers form year to year and also drilling a hole in the shock but someone spoke of the bumpers will fit if it's an 1988 325i. is this true?
can i uses the 1989-1992 bumpers with no mods on my 1988 convert?
Thanks guys.

As far as i know you should be able to interchange any E30 bumpers. I took mine from an 84 and it fit perfectly into my 86

Thing is, the new bumper you want is the Plastic one don't u?. I think the old Steel bumpers were nice w/ the shocks, and if u wanted to put a "SportieRR" look compress it by drilling holes in the 2 shocks. But if anything just work on that front spoiler clean it up it should be fine. You already have that compressed model.
