88 325is stutters when cold - BMW Forum

hey

i have an 88 325is and when the car is cold and you start to drive it for a bit it starts to stutter like its not getting enough gas when cold. when its warm it doesnt do it. is it the cold start valve that needs to be replaced? im not really sure whats going im pretty sure its not getting enough gas when this happens. has this ever happened to anyone else? let me know

here's what I would do first...go reseat all of the spark plug lines, especially on the plug end, then check the coil connections...

ya i just did my timing belt so i had the plugs all off so it would be easier to turn the engine over at the crankshaft. so the wires were off everything spark plugs were taken out and put back in and the plug off the coil. and it also did this stuttering while cold before i did the timing belt.....
