Your Fuel tank is empty and your battery is flat!

Dude, does the starter motor swing or is the car just dead
when you turn the key?

If the motor isn't swinging check from the battery.
If the motor is swinging and no spark, check at the coil for
a spark if there is no spark at the the coil, faulty leads or
distributer cap which needs replacing. If no spark at the coil
check resistance between the centre pole and outside points
on the coil.

geee this is turning out to be a long story.

If the coil is reading incorrectly check your pick up sensor.
Also check your starter motor solenoid, listen for a clicking
sound when you turn the ignition on, if no clicking is heard
your solenoid is faulty.

....fuel, check the fuel pump fuse, then relay if still no
luck check you fuel pump.

best bet for you is to get a BMW technician to put it on
a diagnostics machine! Spend a small amount of cash
on a checkup, could save you a turd lot of time and frustration.

Hope you come right.
